Erin Prather Stafford is a writer based in Dallas, Texas. She is the founder of Girls That Create, an online platform for the parents and caregivers of creative girls. You can also find her work on various sites like Today Parenting Team, Dallas Moms, and UT Southwestern Medical Center. Erin is the author of the historical book Vision 60: Sixty Years of the Science and Art of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, written for the Department of Radiology at UT Southwestern. Erin is also the Executive Producer of the award-winning documentary WONDER WOMEN! THE UNTOLD STORY OF AMERICAN SUPERHEROINES. The film had its national broadcast on Independent Lens | PBS. Erin began having an interest in the media’s portrayal of women while earning her undergraduate degree in communication at St. Edward’s University. She went on to receive an MA in Gender and International Development from the University of Warwick. Erin is a recipient of the Barbara Jordan media award and IABC Gold Quill Award.
